Black Box Warning
by Dr. Greg Loman

By now, I would suspect that 99 percent of the planet knows about the Black Box Warning. If you are one of the few that does not know what it is, I will explain.

You see, due to the fact that antidepressant medications are causing children and adults to take their own life, the pharmaceutical industry has been mandated to put a serious warning on the medication bottles -- the Black Box Warning. I believe at this point that most people have recognized the dangers of this type of medication. Practically every major high school shooting has involved a child or adult on some sort of antidepressant medication. For additional information, The Maximized Living book offers a sufficient view of the facts involved with antidepressant medication and violence.

The re-occurrence of altercations involving these dangerous medications leads to my belief that the Black Box Warning is not working. It is equivalent to making pedophiles register within the community so as to inform its inhabitants of their presence. The ideology surround the Black Box Warning and registering pedophiles all concern curbing incidents from potentially occurring. Instead, I suggest we do something to prevent them altogether.

My idea surrounds a new Black Box Warning, to be placed on your child's birth certificate. My definition that all parents would have to read before taking their child home from the hospital or birthing center would sound different from the medication bottle:

WARNING!: From this day forward life it too precious. Your job as a parent is to take responsibility and teach your child how to live well. The human being is a physical, spiritual and emotional life. You must teach your child how to address each of these entities so they have the opportunity to live a HEALTHY life!

If you do not know how, then it is your responsibility to take your child to a Maximized Living Doctor so that they can teach your family how to never end up needing antidepressant medication.

Life is not black and white, nor are you either well or diseased. Life and health are shades of gray. If you are mostly well, then there is still an element of you that is suffering. If you are sort of happy, then you are still sort of depressed. While having the odds in the positive will be favorable to you, if you begin to approach the edge where you are mostly depressed or mostly suffering you will in turn begin manifesting the negative effects. Stay the heck away from the edge! Depression is more than just a bad week--it has serious physical components. If your body is subject to a harsh environment resulting in illness, then so is your brain. By getting healthy, your problem with depression will begin to diminish and eventually disappear, leaving you the ability to live a happy, full life.

 TESTIMONIALS
"This has not only changed my life, it has changed the habits and attitudes for my family.  This has impacted every facet of our lives.  It is truly an example of the old saying, “Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day.  'Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.'"
~ Jeff A.

"I would highly recommend this to anyone who is seeking to change their life.  This is a great opportunity to learn and grow and discover the best life has to offer."
~ Judy C.

"I don’t even know if I can completely express just how much this has changed my life!  I have a completely different view of food now.  I don’t think of it simply as something to eat because I am hungry.  I have a new mindset about how food fuels my body and how to combine different foods in a way that will fuel my body to keep up with the demands of my life.  As you know, our whole family is on board and the kids are loving it!  They are sleeping better and are less cranky without the processed foods and so much sugar."
~ Lisa A.

"Most importantly, I have made conscious mental changes that have improved my family life.  I try not to take my wonderful husband and daughter for granted ~ I appreciate the time I am able to spend with them. I also have realized what a huge role model I am for my 6 year old daughter and that the choices I make impact not only myself, but most importantly, the changes will impact my daughter’s choices.  I now think before I act and just try to be a better person, knowing that I will get rewarded in a million ways."
~ Lisa S.

"This has changed my life by changing the way I view myself and the world around me.  The simple phrase “Honor God with your body” has made me realize that by not taking care of my body with exercise, food by God and peace by God, I am in fact dishonoring God."
~ Roxanne P.

"For me, the journey began as one for weight loss but ended with one that has helped me to increase my relationship with God and understand his plan for me.  I learned how the body uses nutrients but more importantly, I learned how to nourish my soul. I am more aware of my value in my life.  This process is ongoing for me ~ but this has helped me to realize that I am not alone.  Overall, this has helped me gain confidence and the realization that I am valued in God’s eyes and that he truly loves me."
~ Seema C.

"I feel like I’ve finally gotten a road map to a better life.  I’ve been losing weight and feeling better, more alive.  I’ve also found myself feeling less stressed out with the daily grind.  I’ve been able to take charge of situations which would normally send me into a panic."
~ Steve H.

"This program has helped me to understand what is important in life ~ not to be stressed out about trying to keep up with everything and everyone."
~ Trudie A.

"I feel I now have a reliable plan to live a healthy lifestyle for myself and my family.  I get to make healthy choices ~ or not, and it all falls into the plan.  This has given me a lot of freedom ~ especially to tell people I’m not on a diet, I’m just making healthier choices, which feels great.  This is the first time that God is my partner in what I am doing with my body and my life.  I now have the habit of turning to God for strength instead of trying to do it by myself."
~
Wendy W.

"It helped to realize I’m not only struggling with weight issues, time management, etc, others are as well!  It helped me realize just a little improvement is better than not attempting to make improvements at all!"
~ Mary S.
